The challenge of design is to balance text-driven content with an eye-pleasing image. Frequently the product is not particularly attractive, or worse, is just a concept like "time," making visual representation very difficult. Additionally, the design must maintaining a consistent image for a company across various campaigns without getting boring.

In this campaign for Dallas Semiconductor, the products were tiny microchips called Programmable Timing Elements. Not only was the product visually generic, but explaining how the product worked was equally as challenging. Our designers did an excellent job of visually capturing the excitement of the new technology, while still leaving plenty of space for product descriptions. On brochures, direct mail pieces and packaging the message was clearly communicated in an attention-getting way.
